FFIIGG (pronounced 'fig') is a Fellowship, a cooperating Federation of organizations and people who keep their autonomy yet assist one another and have a goal to be united in the basic, fundamental, eternal goals and beliefs of life. The beliefs are the basic fundamental principles from God in scripture and are what we may see in nature which is in harmony with his word. We are International and are willing to help believers and unbelievers in all nations, countries, and ethnicities as God loves and cares for all people. God’s people are Informers, Implorers, encouraging people to know and follow the good graces and principles of God which are valuable and beneficial for everyone so that they may have a happy and abundant life throughout the future. And we are Informing people of all these and many more glories of God which are both remarkable, and yet often beyond comprehension and explanation, but just to be enjoyed.

The name also is like a fig, the fruit, enjoyable, not sour or overly sweet, with vitamins, minerals, sugar and protein, supplying short and long term energy, and it can revive a person who is starving and weary. And like the fig, we are many sweet small seeds together in one body. We are to be sweet, to give nourishment, a food to those who partake of our short term and long term, life-sustaining nourishment, and in sharing God’s word we can revive the spiritually starving in the throes of death. The fig seeds have energy and also DNA, a blueprint, an outline, a guideline, a word, logos, as we are spreading and propagating the logos or word of God. The seeds then can grow new trees that produce new figs.

Jesus, in the event of the fruitless fig tree, Matthew 21:19 and elsewhere, likened the barren fig tree to the temple priests, traders and money changers who were not being fruitful to God. So he wants us to be like figs, fruitful, spreading seeds of God’s truth, sweet, united, beneficial, and procreating the word. But also like the fig fruit, a tree has a progression of fruit that is in various stages of maturity. Each only stays on the tree for a period of time and after growing must be used and harvested and beneficial for food or it withers and is consumed by bees and wasps and insects. While it is our time to do so we must be fruitful and beneficial and there will be others which are also now young and growing to be new fruit and seeds to nourish the next and future needs.

Yes, this organization and members are much like the fig fruit which Jesus enjoyed and desired. And to emphasize our call purpose, we, as the Bible does, have used the name double. Hebrew and the scripture, use a double repeat word form to convey a very strong meaning like Amen, Amen, or Holy, Holy. So we have incorporated this into FIGFIG, or FFIIGG to make it easier to say and type into the internet. And the fig fruit of God is the ultimate, sweetest, most long lasting, most nourishing, most life giving of all fruits. It is truly the FIG FIG or FFIIGG fruit of God. It may even be likened to the tree of life in the Garden of Eden, the tree from which life is made and sustained, the greatest of all trees, the FIG FIG or FFIIGG.

So the name FFIIGG, has many scriptural associations and references and so may be an inspirational source for conveying God’s messages. Let us live up to this good name.

OUR MISSION: To assist members, churches, and unbelievers to better godliness and appreciation of the love, knowledge, beauty, and wisdom, in the truth and spirit of God’s ways, which he has provided for us in his scriptures and nature.

About FFIIGG: or FIG for short. We are an association of Bible believing churches and individuals working together to better help members and non-members to know and appreciate our great God is so much directing our lives and events for our good but who we often don’t know and appreciate, and don’t see except for the effects that are manifested in our lives.

FFIIGG grew out of a recognition by bishops and evangelists of a need for an association to help smaller and somewhat independent Christian Bible churches to be more united to coordinate and support their mutual goals. Birds, fish, mammals, even insects or any group of individuals will be more effective if they can coordinate and help each other survive and prosper. Many of the largest religious orders, Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Lutheran, Episcopal, Islam, Hindu, and such, have large, well-funded, international organizations that help support and coordinate the individual members and smaller denominations to be more effective and cooperative, helping in times of crisis and normalcy to exist and prosper more effectively.

By coordinating and cooperating we can better utilize resources and knowledge, support each other spiritually, educationally, morally, emotionally, politically, materially, and financially.
